Supply and demand – it's basic economics. But what happens when demand outweighs supply? And what happens when the demand is for doctors to care for people?

That’s what’s happening right here in America, as the demand for physicians continues to outweigh the supply. What we have now is a physician shortage that limits access to medical care – and sadly, rural communities have been hit especially hard.

Summer is officially here! That means pool parties, barbecues, picnics at the park, and some fun in the sun; however, summertime is also time for higher traffic at urgent cares, hospitals, and emergency rooms across the country. Dehydration, sun and food poisoning, and rapid alcohol consumption are just a few common culprits that can cause a rise in admissions during the summer holiday season. This is especially true during summer holidays, like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.
